What Coding Language To Start With?

Michael Morales  -  December 24, 2021  -  ,

There's no right answer when choosing your first programming language. This guide will help give you a better idea of which one is best suited for whatever project or career goals that may be at the forefront of yours. Still, there isn't just "one" because everyone has their preferences based on what kind of projects they want to work with and who would hire them afterward (company), etc.

Python

Python is always recommended if you're looking for an easy and fun programming language to learn first. Rather than jumping into strict syntax rules, Python reads like English and is simple to understand for someone new to programming. It's also a great choice if you want a wide range of tools that make your life easier as a coder.

Python is a popular programming language that can do anything from web development to graphic user interfaces (GUIs) and software. Python is even used to build Instagram, YouTube, or Spotify, which shows how powerful this tool is.

C

C language is difficult to learn, but it's the best way to code efficiently. Software Developer Joel Spolsky compares C-level skills like understanding basic anatomy before becoming an expert in medical genetics or surgery; these are fundamental concepts that will help you understand how computers function and what needs improvement when designing them.

Java

Java is an object-oriented and feature-heavy programming language that’s in high demand. It was built under the premise of “Write once, run anywhere," meaning you can write any program on your device no matter what kind it may be: desktop computer or mobile phone.

Java often gets used for Android and iOS app development because Google has established its basic principles.

Ruby

One of the easiest languages for people without prior programming experience to read is Ruby. You don't need an extensive library or vocabulary knowledge, as it has plenty of tools available that will come in handy when creating your app! A big reason why so many like this come from its awesome full-stack framework called "Ruby on Rails.”

Ruby is becoming increasingly popular among startups and enterprise solutions because companies can build their websites using these frameworks. Making them easier than ever before - not only does it save time and money by reducing development costs significantly over traditional methods. Some well-known sites built entirely with rails include Airbnb, Groupon, etc., while countless more.
